1. Knowing your person is special, and that you are in a healthy relationship with them means everything. It’s good to consider a few prompts even if you think it is an otherwise healthy relationship: Are you blaming the distance for the unhealthy roller coaster that you are on? Be honest with yourself. Would your problems truly magically disappear if you closed the distance? Are there any red flags that you have been ignoring? Don’t hesitate to get some help with this because it can be hard to be unbiased and blinded by love. 👀

2. Stop listening to the people who don’t have what you are looking for. This applies to any area of your life, because only you know what you want. Before asking for opinions or advice, make sure you are asking someone who can speak from embodied experience. Naysayers are everywhere, that’s not hard to find - Nor is it valuable advice to just shut someone’s relationship down for 1 variable in it 🙃 Be conscious of what you let in and how much you expose yourself to discouraging people in your life.

3. Time and patience: Every day, week, month, year you are proving to yourself (and no one else! - important distinction) that you can do this. You are building your own track record and naturally the doubt turns into confidence. One step at a time.
