The law of diminishing returns is bound to hit you at some point 📉 More time on the phone may feel like you are more in tune at first, but it wears off and you are left with less engaging conversations and a feeling of disconnection when you go beyond your limit for a long period of time.

Plus, what are you giving up on? It is worth shedding light on the cost of your habits. If you feel like your phone chats are taking over your life, don’t worry, I think we all go through some form or another of this adjustment. It is normal to tweak our routines as we go and both partners must understand that this is not a sign of disinterest at all.

Lifestyles change, people change, circumstances change… so remain flexible and have open conversations about what you can realistically do. Make sure everyone’s needs are met and think outside of the box if these needs for connection can be met in different ways.

The routine will stabilize and evolve again and again, so accepting that fact is the best thing you can do!

What’s your current sweet spot? If you need a little nudge to help you get that routine just right, I have private coaching opportunities available. Book a free consultation below to learn more!
